The Music Committee
is a sub-committee of the School’s P & C Association and is run on a
voluntary basis by the parents of children at the school.
All parents of children who learn an instrument are invited to become involved in this exciting and friendly committee.
The role of the committee is to:
· Find suitably qualified teachers.
· Co-ordinate private and group tuition.
· Provide instruments for hire.
· Organise musical performances.
· Organise the annual music camp.
The committee’s meetings are held once a
month and all parents are welcome to attend. Please contact the
convenor for meeting times & locations or check the school newsletter.
The committee sets policies, with advice from the P&C and the
school principal, for the benefit of everyone and must be
adhered to. By enrolling your child for music tuition at the
school you are agreeing to abide by the policies set down by the
committee.
