The LCPS Netball Club was formed in 1987 with four senior teams. The first juniors joined the Club in February the following year, forming six teams.

The Club is affiliated with the Northern Suburbs Netball Association (NSNA) and now fields Netta, Age and Senior teams in their Saturday competitions.

Players turning 10 and above in the current year are graded into appropriate teams. Those turning 8 or 9 are not graded. They are placed into teams with regard to age, school year and friendships, and play a modified version of the game, called Netta.

Children turning 5 to 7 can join ‘Fun Net’ - a program developed by Netball Australia and encouraged by NSNA to develop the basic motor skills in a fun environment of games and activities.

Netball is a terrific introduction to competition sport and a great game to participate in right through into adulthood. Enjoy the game that is played by more women around the world than any other sport.
