Playground Rules

The playground is a K-6 playground. The 1891 area is for Kindergarten only.
The basketball court is for years 5 and 6 at recess and lunchtime.
Students who arrive at school before 8:30am are to sit in the amphitheatre until the 8:30am bell. Coral Park, the Bullring and the cricket nets are out of bounds before school.
The car parks, service roads, the area behind Stringybark and the area behind the tennis courts are out of bounds at all times.
All school buildings are out of bounds unless supervised by a teacher.
Students must not leave school grounds without permission.
Students are not to used fixed equipment before or after school. They may use it only when there is direct teachers supervision.
Students must wear the school hat when outside. Students without a hat must stay in the shade.
Students are not to play with any equipment in the softfall/amphitheatre area before school.
Tennis balls are allowed in the Osborne Park/Terminus area, the Burns Bay area and on the basketball court after 8:30am.
Larger ball are allowed on the basketball court after 8:30am.
At lunchtime students are to remain seated in their designated areas until they are dismissed by the duty teacher at 1:00pm.
Tennis racquets are to be used only on the tennis courts.
Plastic cricket bats only are to be used in the cricket nets.
Students should keep the playground clean by putting all rubbish in the bins.
Tackling is not allowed in any games.
Students are not to run on the stairs.
Students must not eat or drink while playing on the fixed equipment. Students must not eat while playing on the Bullring.
Students must not ride scooters, bicycles or skateboards in the playground. Refer to the Lane Cove Bicycle and Scooter policy.
Students must leave the school grounds promptly at the end of the day.
