The Support Teacher

• Works with the school executive and class teachers to devise programs for students with learning difficulties.
• Assists class teachers with the implementation and evaluation of programs for individual or small groups of students with learning difficulties
• Shares ideas, information, materials and strategies with class teachers that will help them provide for students with learning difficulties
• Liaises with parents, counsellors and others in decision-making relating to students with learning difficulties.
