General Information
School uniform is required at
Lane Cove Public School. We have a Summer uniform, Winter
uniform and a Sport uniform. All school uniform needs are
available from the school uniform shop.
Summer
Uniform
The summer uniform is worn in terms 1 & 4. The
girls’ summer uniform is the grey summer dress or green
culottes and white polo with school logo, worn with white
socks and black shoes or black joggers and a school green
slouch hat.The boys’ summer uniform is grey school
shorts and white polo with school logo, worn with worn with
grey socks and black shoes or black joggers and a school
green slouch hat.
School sweatshirt with logo or school
jacket with logo can be worn on colder days.
Summer sports uniform is for both
girls and boys and should be worn on sports days only:
Unisex green sports shorts, coloured house polo with
school logo, white socks, white or black joggers and a
school green slouch hat.
Winter Uniform
The winter uniform is worn in terms 2 & 3. Most
items will arrive around the beginning of March. An order
form specifically for Winter uniforms will be sent to kindy
classes once the stock is imminent and a note in school news
once it has arrived. The boys’ shorts and boys’ trousers are
the same brand so the same size should fit.
Hats
Our new hat cords have deliberately been attached with few
stitches on one side for reasons of safety. Please
discourage your child from swinging the hat by its cord as
it will easily detach. Remember when you sew it back on, to
use just a few stitches for safety.. Please remember to hand
wash before use in cold water to set the dye.
Second Hand
Uniforms
We do stock some second hand items as well.
If you are leaving the school, please consider donating your
uniform to the shop for resale as second hand.

The uniform shop is
situated at the end of the Northwood building
(just past the canteen and down the steps.)
Normal Opening Times
Tuesdays -2:00pm to 3:30pm
Thursdays - 8:15am to 9:30am

Ordering Details
Order forms are available from the school office or
a copy can
be downloaded from here. Please include payment with
orders in a sealed envelope clearly marked for the Uniform
Shop. We require pre-payment before we can give you goods
both in the shop and by our ordering system. No goods
without payment ie. No Credit.
Cash, cheques and credit cards
accepted. 2% surcharge on credit card transactions. We
accept Mastercard and Visa only. Not Amex or Diners and no
eftpos. Minimum transaction $10. Phone numbers on back of
cheques please. Orders may be made via the school internal
mail system using a current order form.
Exchanges or refunds can
only be made on clean unworn (labels intact) garments.
Please bring your receipt. No refunds on second hand
goods. Any queries or orders for smaller or larger sizes
please contact Helene Sharp on 9428 3523 (Uniform Shop
Manager).
